Frequently Asked Questions

Ans : Australia is known for its vibrant and dynamic climate. A newly installed solar system produces free electricity for 25+ years. Solar systems give you the ability to save money by creating a natural source of energy that can power your home and business. Moreover, solar panels are long lasting and require little maintenance.

Our vision is to make solar systems affordable for every Australian by providing prices which suit their pockets. A well-designed solar system installation has a typical payback period of around 3-4 years in Australia post which the monetary benefits continue till 25 years and more.

Ans : Typically, we recommend installing your solar system on the north side of your roof for optimal performance. However, if we are unable to install the panels on the desired side of your roof, we can still install them on your shed, veranda or any other side of your property after careful inspection.

Ans : Solar panels are made up of a group of cells (generally silicon) which are usually encased in a metallic frame and tempered glass. When subject to sunlight, these photovoltaic cells help in creating a flow of electric charge inside the solar panel. The solar panels feed into a device (known as an inverter system) that converts direct current (DC) electricity to alternating current (AC) to match the frequency of the utility grid so that it can be used to power your home or business.

Ans : It entirely depends on the total usage of the electricity produced. Each customer has unique electricity needs so the amount of money saved on your bill is dependent on how efficiently you use the electricity produced by the installed solar system. Our solar experts and CEC accredited installers will help you design and install custom solar panel systems according to your usage and will subsequently allow you to save up to 80% on your electricity bills.

Ans : Solar systems work during the daytime only. The solar energy produced can be used during the daytime to power your home and the surplus energy gets exported to the power grid. Your electricity retailer will pay you for each kWh that your system exports to the grid as a credit to your electricity bill.

A battery is required In order to store the generated solar energy. Please contact us to find out more about the available battery solutions for your solar system.

Ans : On a cloudy day, the performance of the solar system is reduced to approximately half of what it would produce on a sunny day. If your usage on that day is higher than what is being produced by the installed solar system, then the additional power needed is directly taken from the power grid.

Ans : We provide a warranty of 25 years on the solar panels and a warranty of 10 years on the inverter. We also exclusively provide a 10-year installation and workmanship warranty.
