My brother referred me to Sunmate Solar after he had his Solar installation done by them. He warned me that they are slow with their job and need a lot of follow up but they are affordable. I decided to go with Sunmate Solar as I was just about to start building our house (this was in Nov 2024). I paid the $100 deposit. Communication was ok till July 25. I submitted all the required documents that were needed. Justin (the agent) assured me that the Solar will be installed by the time we move into ournew house. Then started all the excuses saying that the Government Rebate approval is take time. No communication after that till 6th Nov 2025 when I received an email saying all the paper work is done and that the work has been handed over to the installation team who will contact me soon. I waited for 1 full month with no communication from their side. I tried to call Justin on both the contact numbers and email with no luck. Then called the 1300 number with no luck either. That's when I realised that I have been scammed. I am still trying to find them. Their ABN still shows as 'current'. I have wasted a lot of time on these scammers.

I have been contacting this company not for them to fixed the leak in my roof due to installation but just for them to take down the solar for my roof maintenance to fixed it after sending them numerous emails, 2 weeks of contacting their call centre services whom will only advised is they will inform the after sales service to give you a call back which never happened nor respond to any of my emails this company and people are rubbish!!! Dont trust them they are quick for installation but will never give interest with after sales service nor warranty services.
